Here are two super easy recipes for you. Hope these help make quick meals for your family.
Easy Monkey Bread
1 can biscuits
1 stick butter, melted (the real thing, not margarine)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1T cinnamon (or to taste)
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare an 8x8 glass baking dish by spraying with Pam. Cut each biscuit in to four pieces (scissors work great for this!). Mix together the brown sugar and the cinnamon with a fork. Dip each piece of biscuit in to butter and then in the sugar mixture, place in baking dish. After all biscuits are in dish, mix together any remaining butter with the extra brown sugar mixture, and pour over the top of the biscuits. Bake for 20-ish minutes, or until lightly browned. Yum-O
2. I have no name for this recipe - wanna name it?
1 Onion, thinly sliced
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
Whatever meat you have on hand - things that will work are: 6-8 pork chops, pork loin roast, beef roast, or chicken breast
Put the meat in your crockpot (or in a 13x9 if you're cooking it in the oven), put the onion on top, then cover with the soup. Cook in the crockpot until meat is nice and tender (6-8 hours on low). Or in the oven. Whatever you have time for.
This recipe is surprisingly good! It is not too onion-y, and the soup and onions make GREAT gravy for mashed potatoes. This dish isn't all that attractive, so if you want to fancy it up a bit, add a sprig of fresh parsley on the side or lightly sprinkle with paprika for some color.
Hope you like it!!
